And also, cavalry its a bit useless in big fights cause the AI stays in a huge BLOB of units who 80% have spears and will decimate your cav who is hard to train and expensive.Дon't get me wrong, I really like idea, it tries to be as historical as it can be, and to me it did a pretty good job, adding tons of new features in addition. Its historical, can't fault it, but doesn't mean it makes the game less boring for me. Cavalry, I get it, there weren't many at that time, but that doesn't make it less boring, you really feel the lack of it compared to original warband or other mods.

When I replay a game I usually try to go for other playstyles, sword and shield is the best along with a spear or throwing weapons. I think this is mostly a warband problem, but I think its worse in VC. I defeat their whole army and then I have to replenish mine for like a week, I don't even manage to do that when their whole army comes back to siege my fiefs.Its really annoying. I think you can change it too, I never bothered.ДЇor me, every faction looked the same, only minor differences. The AI blob seems really stupid to me, but I appreciate they tried to improve it.

The troops take ages to upgrade, but thats the main game's thing, to not have a full elite army. Killing vanskerries is the easiest task ever, you just take out their annoing mounted troops first, then ride in circles till they have no throwing axes, then you just lance them down/slash them down or shoot them from short dinstance in the face while kiting.ДЄ bunch of ravenstern rangers don't need any grinding, merceneries in tavern nether. Kite them if you're horse archer and dance around with large sword and slash them. I have better things to do then buy an video recording software, sorry, but you can find on youtube a dude soloing Mystmountains Army, which includes Hero Adventurers - top tier troops, that are stronger then bandit top tier.
